Welcome to the latest episode of Sustainable Style, where we highlight all of the fresh, ethically- and sustainably-produced apparel and accessories available here at our little retail shop in Encinitas, CA. We're calling this episode "That Desert One" because we took some time off in Joshua Tree recently and couldn't help but get creative out there!

We have so much sustainable swimwear in the shop right now, it's bananas. Frankly, we had so much trouble finding ethically-produced and eco-friendly bathing suits and bikinis for ourselves that it only made sense to bring some into our shop in Leucadia, CA. So whether your summer plans have you hanging at the beach, lounging by the lake or meandering through the desert looking for watering holes, we've got you covered.

Juno Bikini Top + Zeus Bikini Bottom

A light blue, slightly shiny string bikini ethically made in Barcelona. The top can be tied in multiple different ways too, think of it as five different styles in one top. It's made from a ribbed swimwear fabric and fully lined. Our favorite thing about this bikini is that it looks great on all sorts of skin tones and body types, the freedom of the ties let you adjust it to fit comfortably however you want to wear it!

A two toned, vintage inspired one piece swimsuit made ethically in Barcelona. With a cutout midriff and tie straps, this swimsuit gives a little something extra than a regular one piece. Seen here on Kameko, mom of four, looking like an absolute milf!

A more modest coverage bikini ethically made with a soft ribbed fabric. The top does a great job of holding your boobies comfortably in place and the high waisted bottoms give you medium coverage so you can show a little booty without feeling like you're flaunting too much.

We have the Marina swimsuit in four different colorways, but this pattern might just be a shop favorite! Who knew that little flowers, peaches, and butterflies against a soft black fabric would make perfection. This swimsuit also has a pretty moderate coverage on the booty, but you still show some skin with the open midriff.

Clearly we're a big fan one piece swimsuits, sustainably made ones at least. This one honestly doubles as a cute bodysuit, just throw on some shorts and some accessories and boom, you have a whole outfit! She comes in a bright mustard color shown here and a cute muted green color too.
