Most of these suggestions are zero waste and eco friendly too, so come Nov. 1st, you’ll be free of guilt and have a new fall staple to love! I think we can all agree that after the year we’ve had, adopting a different persona for the night and leaving reality behind will be a welcome escape.

Moira Rose from Schitt’s Creek: Assume the persona of Schitt’s Creek formerly famous and wealthy daytime soap star extraordinaire. Transform into Moira Rose with Thread Spun’s all-black Harper jumpsuit by Rachel Pally (made ethically in LA) and a big pair of extravagant looking (but actually affordable) polarized Camina sunglasses. Pop on a thrifted blonde wig, a few over-the-top black and white accessories and suddenly-you, (yes you!) are the wife of the second-biggest video rental company in North America!

A$AP Rocky: His Met Gala quilted jacket was the outfit we all wanna wear when we made plans but would rather stay on the couch under a cozy comforter. Really any of Thread Spun’s handmade textiles would evoke the same idea of hitting the red carpet swaddled in something lovingly handmade like Rocky did. May we suggest the Flower Pot mini blanket by Slowdown Studio? Or perhaps a nice shag rug? Like this one-of-a-kind handmade beauty from Guatemalan weavers by Meso Goods. Georgia O’Keeffe: Okay, we admit that most apparel stocked at Thread Spun would feel right at home in Georgia O’Keeffe’s closet. With a lot of class and a touch of the southwest, we have several options that capture O’Keeffe’s androgynous silhouette exuding sensibility and style.

With a Presidential Medal of Freedom, a spot in the Women's Hall of Fame and enduring works of art that continue to inspire, who wouldn’t want to emulate this accomplished creative? Try our cozy hand-embroidered quilted jacket by Marigold Row over Sugar Candy Mountain’s Marigold Jumpsuit in black. Their Nettles Coat with black pants will also capture the look. All of Sugar Candy Mountain's beautiful garments are handmade in LA. You’ll need Made by Minga’s Boater Hat made by fourth and fifth generation artisans in Ecuador to complete the look and remember to tuck the signature white headscarf underneath. We found this piece on O’Keeffe’s style a good read if you're interested to learn more about her signature style.
Troop Beverly Hills: A super cute, recognizable costume choice with a little spunk and humor. Outerknown’s organic cotton Utility Jumpsuit is a perfect base. Add Tono’s hand stitched silk (complete with brass slide) and Made by Minga’s Boater Hat and you are ready for an eventful evening in the Halloween wilderness!
