"Connected through the death of my friend, now buried on the brow of a hill overlooking the lagoon (which is the view of the print), Bolinas spoke to me in the sea air blowing through the eucalyptus, dried leaves under foot telling me where the fault lines ran. The cliffs on the beach smelling of creosote and salt whispered of shallow methane wells under the tide pools of Duxbury Reef. The sea pouring into the lagoon talk slow of encroaching of people that will change this place but not the land, although it will be unrecognizable.
All we have to do is look and listen and the vastness will be revealed."
