Small Handwoven Textiles | Chiapas, Mexico
100% cotton, fair trade and hand woven textiles from el Camino de los Altos, a cooperative of 130 indigenous Maya women artisans living in several communities within the rural mountains of Chiapas, Mexico.
Artisans utilize backstrap looms, hand embroidery and traditional weaving patterns in creating their textiles. Colors and designs are determined through collaborative effort within the cooperative.
Each item is handmade and sizes vary slightly. Each textile measures approximately 14" x 80". This textile would make a beautiful scarf or table runner. We can easily provide additional photos/more precise sizing if interested.
Available in Purple Stripe, Red & Blue Stripe or Yellow & Blue Stripe.
Care: Will not fade. Machine washable, air dry flat.
