Extra Large Indigo Textiles | Burkina Faso
Fair trade, hand-dyed and handwoven large textiles from Habibou Coulibaby, a textile artist from the Bamana people and originally from Mali. Habibou is now located in Burkina Faso and is an active member of a local dyer's cooperative.
Coulibably uses minerals, clays and plants to naturally dye his fabrics, an ancient tradition called "Bogola Fini" in the local Bambara language.
These textiles are a rich, beautiful indigo and would be beautiful as a coverlet on a bed. Approximately 92" x 124". Each textile is completely unique and variations are to be expected.
