Bogolan Mudcloth Zippered Pouch
This handmade zippered pouch features hand-woven, naturally-dyed and fair trade Bogolan mud cloth textiles from a cooperative in Burkina Faso. It is sewn by a resettled refugee paid above a living wage in San Diego, California. Each pouch incorporates textiles on one side and sustainably harvested cork fabric (lined with cotton) on the other, and is lined with 100% organic cotton. Your purchase reflects the artisanship of diverse people, places and cultures, and creates fair wages for vulnerable people and makers around the world.
Measures approximately 10.5" wide by 7.5" long.
As each pouch is made by hand and is entirely one-of-a-kind, please expect small variations in size/styling from the clutch pictured. Your clutch will be made from the textile and cork fabrics pictured, but will utilize different pieces. This is the beauty of handmade, the creative expression of individuals, and supporting unique refugee artisans from around the world.
