Large Handwoven Textiles | Chiapas, Mexico
100% cotton, fair trade and hand woven textiles from el Camino de los Altos, a cooperative of 130 indigenous Maya women artisans living in several communities within the rural mountains of Chiapas, Mexico.
Artisans utilize backstrap looms, hand embroidery and traditional weaving patterns in creating their textiles. Colors and designs are determined through collaborative effort within the cooperative.
The large size measures approximately 49" x 68". Available in Orange or Stripe. This textile would make a beautiful coverlet or throw.
Care: Machine wash, air dry flat. Will not fade.
